Olive oil presents a long list of beneficial effects to our skin. The numerous components are saponifiable fraction represented by triglycerides and fatty acids, and the unsaponifiable contents. The fatty acids are represented by oleic acid, palmitic stearic and linoleic acids. These components regulate the skin’s natural hydration system (NMF) by repairing the protective hydrolipidic film.
Squalane. It is a Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) that’s present in our human skin, produced by sebaceous gland. It is the key component for the hydrophilic film. It keeps skin moisturised. It is one of the components in olive oil too!!
