Description
Capsicum oil is extracted from the fruit part of the plants. The extract contains 0.1 – 1.5% capsaicin.
Capsaicin is substance that helps in stimulating the circulation and altering temperature regulation. Applied topically, it also helps in desensitizing nerve endings as well as in making a good local anesthetic. As it also contains capsicidins, it has good antibiotic properties.
Application: Massage oil, massage cream/lotion, products with warming sensation.
Tips:
The dark red colour of capsicum oil might affect final product appearance.
